Practical help and support groups

Carers and Loved Ones of Those Living with Cancer Social and Support Group. The social and support group is for carers, loved ones, friends and relatives of those living with cancer, and affected by cancer. This group is also open to those who have lost somebody to cancer too. Refreshments provided. A social setting for people to meet people who understand and ‘get it’. People are invited to chat, listen, rant, cry and feel however they want to feel. Most of all it is a place for people to meet other’s who understand and can relate to what they are going through. Plans include creating care packs, coffee shop meetups, wellbeing walks, guest speakers and chats with healthcare professionals who can offer support and guidance.

Meet the 1st Tuesday of the month 6pm - 7pm, 3rd Tuesday of the month 2pm - 3pm in the BHF Priory Centre @ Priory Campus. Reception will guide the group to the correct room.
